Default EEA Family Permit

Hi, I am new here in the forum. I am Filipina married to a Portuguese citizen who have been in the UK for three years already. We will be applying for the EEA family permit. I am currently working in Thailand and I am going to process the application from here. Do i need to have my bank statements and employment letter also for proof of why i am here and not on my native country? Please advise. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

No, you don't need to provide any evidence of your employment or finances nor do you need to explain why you're not in your own country. If your husband has been working in the UK for more than three months then you'll need to provide evidence of his employment.

Thank you very much for your clarification, that way i will only have to prepare my passport and marriage certificate on my part and all the employment documents from my husband. But how about the questions online regarding my finances? They are asking if i have savings, how much is it, how much i am spending monthly, how much will i spend when i go to the uk?

Thank you very much again for your help!
