Hello, I am a British Citizen and I am just wondering what the requirements are for a dual citizenship for Canada, I have been looking around and I have not been able to find anything that tells you the requirements, any help would be greatly appreciated,

If you qualify for Canadian citizenship there are no other requirements.

Firstly you have to be living in Canada as a legal immigrant, you give no info as to where you currently live and what you status is there.

Well, perhaps the obvious, you need certain ties to Canada. Were you born in Canada, have you a Canadian parent or (in some limited cases) grandparent? Have you lived in Canada as a legal immigrant? Did your parents or grandparents live in Canada as legal immigrants?

If the answer to any of these is yes, you might be Canadian or qualified to become Canadian, if no, then it's unlikely you have any claim to be a Canadian citizen.
