Default Does Premium Bonds count towards financial requirements?

Hello,

Apologies if this answer has been queried here before.

With regards the the UK Spouse Visa financial requirement, I currently having GBP 30,000 pounds in Premium Bonds which hasn't been touched for few years. I was wondering if I could use the Premium Bonds as part of our cash savings for a Spouse UK visa? Would that count?

Thanks
Claire

Yes you can.

I would suggest you cash them in and place them in a standard bank/savings society account so as to completely comply with the interpretation of "cash savings"
