Dependant Application - not asking about my employment but asking for my wife's
I've completed my wife's application for the partner visa, and now filling in a separate form for the dependant visa for my step son. On my wife's partner application it asked about my employment and income which was as expected, however when I fill out my steps sons dependant visa it doesn't ask about my employment or income at all, only my wife's. My wife's been staying in the UK with us on a visit visa for the last 6 months, and is currently unemployed and returned to Thailand in Feb, so this is what I've answered, though there's no where to state my employment and income. Why is this?

Re: Dependant Application - not asking about my employment but asking for my wif
I just realised on my wife's application it states... Am I currently sponsoring any additional children? and I stated 'No'. I think I should have put 'Yes' here (i thought it meant any other children except dependants I have already stated).
I've already paid the nhs surcharge, visa application fee and made VFS appointment and paid priority and document uploading. What do I do? How do I rectify this?

Maybe I've misunderstood...Is your partner currently sponsoring any additional children?
You should tell us about any additional children they are sponsoring who need a different type of visa to enter or remain in the UK
Do not include children who are:

- dependants applying on this application
- over 18
- British Citizens
- settled in the UK
- EEA nationals with a right to reside in the UK under EU law

Re: Dependant Application - not asking about my employment but asking for my wif
I really urgently need clarity on this if anyone has any insight.
Do I need to do two separate settlement applications, one for my wife and one for my step son as I assumed?
I have completed an settlement partner visa applications for my wife and stated my step son details in the dependant section, though was confused at the end when it said the financial requirement was only £18,600, I was expecting it to state £18,600 + £3,800 as I had a dependant step son stated in the application.
I've already paid the nhs surcharge, visa application fee and made VFS appointment and paid priority and document uploading for my wife's settlement partner visa application.
Was there some part of that application form on the partner application form where I could have somehow have added my step sons application as part of it at that point?
Just need to understand if I've made an error in my wife's application somewhere and need to apply to refund it all before my wife goes to the VFS appointment on Friday and starts processing the application.
