Well...second sons application now in.

First sons application took only 10 weeks.

Applied this time beginning of august but only now have been able to send copy of every page of my husbands passport due to it being at an embassy. So probably slowed things.

Same docs sent as first sons successful application.

Colour copies of
Every page of mothers uk passport
Indian residency permit
Every page of fathers indian passport
Marriage cert attested by mha india
Mothers long and short birth cert
Babys govt.birth cert (1st son had a hospital birth cert) didnt get 1 this time.

Black n white copies of
Covering letter
Hospital discharge notes for mother and baby inc. Bills paid
Baby vaccination sheet

Originals of
Maternal grandparents birth certs and marriage cert
15 photographs of baby with parents and brother.

With any luck it will be back shortly.

Anyone know the website i can track it with the ref no'.

They also asked me a lot about the hospital baby was born in, drs name,was i in india for the entire pregnancy- was it a natural pregnancy...and about my background in the uk, where i grew up- if my husband (indian) had ever been to the uk?? (No) why not?? And was i planning to go there.... Nosey buggers!

just now i was gone through Uk passport application and all i found attachment documents list on table A : must enclose parents and family photos ..i didn't get tht meaning cloud you pls explain that

i have small ssue with in this documents ,,,,photos we have singles and mother with baby ,fathre with baby and only one pic has with three is tht ok or need any

If u only have one then u only have one.

What i did was write on the back of each photo
Example: child & mother age:2 months old

Child and father age: 3 months old.

I included about 15 pictures.

on attachment documents asking all colour photocopy's ..what about mother Medical
/hospital records (birth records) antenatal records ...

on guidence they mentioned all attchement documents should be color photocopy..what about hospital records those are more than 50 papers including blood tests , scan results bills and all those also do we need to take color photo copy or not...

and can we pay payment at VFS or online

Title? Do you mean his honorific? 'Mr' or 'Master' is fine.

Including hospital records would be a good idea.

This is my 2nd time making this appkucation. For my first son i sent...(and have sent the same this time)

Hospital discharge paper for mother and baby and the bill paid to hospital.

About 3 scans - 12 weeks, 20 weeks and 36 weeks.

U dont need to give anything else. No point sending the whole file.they juat want proof your qife carried the child. Any pictures u have whilst pregnant - throw 1 or 2 of those in also.

And copies of the babys vaccination booklet. Just the vaccination page.

I took black and white of the hospital stuff. There should be a payment page for u to print also where you add in ur credut card details and the passport office in britain will take the amount from it.

Take the originals of the copies u are submitting. They will check the originals against the copy and will give the original back.

For my first son, after i made the application, they asked me to send his original hospital birth certificate. I got this back when they issued the passport. I also had to send my parents original birth and marriage certificates - these are the only originals i gave.
