Can anyone please tell how many days it takes first child british passport from India
Interview done last week desperate for that
Please tell if anyone had this experience
Fed up with waiting.

Yes ofcourse Iam fed up with waiting
Becoz I have applied it 4 months back and give up my job and booked some exams in uk for my work prior
All works on hold
So need it soon

I'm sure Brit in Paris will be along with more information, but I think you are looking at many MONTHS rather than weeks!four months is not long for a first child British passport. Here in the Philippines 12 MONTHS or more is normal due to checks carried out to ensure submitted documents are genuine.
I'm not sure if India is on the list of "suspect" countries for non genuine documents. Pakistan certainly is. I'm afraid patience is called for.

However, would it be quicker for the OP to get an Indian passport for the child and then go to the British High Commission in India to get a Certificate of Entitlement?
