Hi all

Just wanted to ask when u submit the application to the VFS centre.. it was from Abu Dhabi .. counting the working days do we count the days from where you submit the application or from the UK

If someone can advise

"Working days" means the number of working days in the office where your application is being processed. How many working days there are where you sent your application from is irrelevant.

So as your application is being processed in the UK that means Monday to Friday, less any bank holidays.

It's the working days from when you went to VFS and submitted your documents and biometrics.

Did you pay priority? We submitted my wife's application on 5th Sept at VFS Dubai paying for priority. We had an email already yesterday telling her to collect her processed visa application. A bit shocked and hoping it's not just to collect her returned original documents. Will find that out tomorrow.

I just realized I misunderstood - it's days in the office in the UK, not from some earlier date when you sent the application.

I start count the day from they sent out acknowledge email.

"working days" refers to the amount of days that something took from the day it has been sent out/distributed etc

Hi all thnx for all ur replies yeh i no they count the days once u submitted but i wanted to know which country do u count the days from the uk or where u submit the application
