Default Confusion regarding Spouse Visa application

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions regarding a SPOUSE VISA.

I am a British citizen, employed and in the uk.

1. My husband is currently on a uk visit visa. If he leaves the uk, back to his country, do I have to wait a certain amount of time before applying for a Spouse Visa? Or can it be straight away after he leaves?

2. I meet the financial requirements (income). Can I use ONLY this when making the application? Since my husband will be out of work in the 6 months before we apply, can I use his savings to add to the application?

3. My husband has a property abroad, can this in anyway be added to our application as part of income?

Any help would be great! Thank you

1. You can apply as soon as he can submit his application from his home country.
2. If your income meets the financial requirements use that just. .... keep it simple
3. If used as a rental property then that rental can be used.... but why if YOU meet the financial requirements.

does the income requirement refer only to income earned from UK sources-if one is paid as a consultant for foreign companies but resident in the UK does that count ?
