Combining salaried and non-salaried income
Hello everyone
My husband is in the UK working in a salaried position, earning £15000. He also has a second, non-salaried, zero contracts job, earning £10 an hour. Combined he meets the threshold. My question is whether the two types of employment can be combined and under what category. I've read the guidelines and can't see anything specifically about combining salaried and non-salaried employment. Anyone have any ideas/experience?
Ideally, we would prefer not to apply under category B because he hasn't been had these jobs for 12 months.
Thanks!

You may want to read through this.

and go to the part Download ‘Annex FM 1.7: financial requirement’ (PDF, 478KB)

Re: Combining salaried and non-salaried income
Thanks for your reply. As I said in my OP, I've read the annex and as far as I can see, there isn't any mention of combining salaried and non-salaried employment. I'm happy to be proved otherwise!
If anyone has any experience with this particular combo I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Re: Combining salaried and non-salaried income
Yes you can use salaried and non salaried income together.
You either apply under Category A or B for both of them i.e you can't combine, say, a salaried job under Cat A and an unsalaried job under Cat B - it's either one category or the other.
