As mentioned before, ROA seems NOT to be what you desire, as it requires a British Passport. So it links you towards a COE which would be inserted in her Chinese passport instead. You should double-check this on the gov.uk website appropriate for your situation.
Dual citizenship, can be argued, but it's certainly not dual nationality in my Sons case.
