Default Spouse visa savings?

Hello me and my husband are planning to apply for the spouse visa (he is from the UK) he earns more than 18.600 however he only have a 1 year contract. So we are using only my savings, how much the amount would be (only me no children) in some places I have read 16.000, 18.600 and in others 62.000 so I'm quite confused. Thanks in advance.

If you are using savings alone, you need £62,500 in an account which can be immediately accessed. The funds must have been in the account untouched for at least six months, unless they are from the sale of a property which must have been in the sponsor's or applicant's ownership for at least six months.

The length of the contract doesn't matter, all he needs to show that he is earning the equivalent of at least 18,600 a year for the 6 months prior to the application,

Are your three children British Citizens? If they are, they will not need to be included in the financial requirement.

On the other hand, if your children are NOT British Citizens, you will need to earn £27,200 p.a. in order to get visas for your wife and children to move to the UK.

£18600 (wife) + £3,800 (1st child) + £2,400 (2nd child) + £2,400 (3rd child)
