Checking our checklist!
Hi everyone. We have our "Settlement Premium Package" biometric appointment in San Francisco next Tuesday and I'm looking for sanity checking here. I'm hoping the folks at VFS on Tuesday will be able to guide us into which ones to submit, but it'd be great having feedback from some keen eyes here too.
Some background and caveats:
OK. So, with that, here's what we've got:
Application Documents
1 Priority payment receipt
2 NHS Surcharge payment receipt
3 Visa4UK application payment receipt
4 Contents page
Applicants documents
5a Printed Visa4UK application
5b VAF4A Appendix 2 filled out by hand
5c Copy of applicants passport picture page
5d A4 photocopies of current passport (old ones retained by Dept of State)
Sponsor's financial documents
6a Main bank account records for six months
6b Supplemental bank account records for six months (to cover question 3.76 in the VAF4A App 2)
6c Stock records for 6 months (to prove where funds came from)
Proof of accommodation documents:
7a AirBNB listing
7b AirBNB Confirmations
7c Accommodation Supporting letter from my father and his wife (if needed)
7d Land Registry details for Dad's house (if needed)
Sponsor's non-financial documents
8a Copy of sponsor's passport biometric page
8b Sponsor's letter of confirmation of support (all three versions)
Relationship documents
9a Marriage certificate (original)
9b 15 years of photos (8 pages)
9c Car title in Joint names
9d 2011 Tax returns
9e 2012 Tax returns
9f 2013 Tax returns
9g 2014 Tax returns
9h 2015 Tax returns
9i 2016 Tax returns
9j 2017 Tax returns
9k 2018 Tax returns
9l 2018 Property tax bill in joint names
Some background and caveats:
- We're going the savings route, so financial docs are light-ish
- I initially submitted the paperwork with an AirBNB in the town we actually want to live in (Ely, Cambs) but this was only for a month. As an alternative, my Dad has offered to let us stay with him down in Devon, but this isn't the address we inputted into our online form at Visa4UK. Given this, I'm putting together various sponsor letters to cover the options of AirBNB, Dad's, and both on there.

Re: Checking our checklist!
Hi LimeyHoya I'm currently collecting all of my documents as well, so your checklist has been really helpful to me! We are also including tax returns for our relationship section. Are you including all of them in their entirety, or only the first two pages of the 1040?

Re: Checking our checklist!
Glad it was of some help!
For the 1040s I just used the front page and blacked out the dollar values and SSNs so it just listed our names, addresses, etc. That seemed to work out for us!

LimeyHoya Sorry to come back to this again – but we're also including joint leases from over the years. Do you think the same rules would apply on those, as far as including the first page only? Except for, perhaps, the most recent one which is based in the UK and being used as my place of accommodation. Any thoughts/advice?
