Default Change job to a business owner

Hi,

Thanks in advance if anyone could help my question.

we have summited our Spouse Visa early March. I was working for someone before as the current situation of the Coronavirus that I may face to lose my job so I would like to start my own business now. Does this will affect our status or marriage visa or do I have to wait until my wife has visa then start my business?

Thanks

In order to apply for any family visa under self employment, the business must have been up and running for a minimum of 12 months.

Your plan won't help at the moment with your current visa application.

Hi there,

I hope someone can help me with my question.

we have summited the visa application for my wife joining me in the UK in March 2020. We are still waiting for their decision. But due to the current situation, I need to change my job because the current employer wants to sell his business. The new business owner is willing to take all the employees on with the same salary. Do I need to report to Home office with my situation or leave as it is?

No, you don't need to contact the Home Office about this. As long as the information in wife's application was correct at the time she submitted the application, that's all that matters. Good luck and I hope your wife's application is processed soon.
