Default Change intended date of arrival for Spouse Settlement visa

Hi,

When setting up the application on www.VISA4UK I originally put an intended date of arrival but now need to change to at least one week later to meet the minimum 3 month rule after deciding to submit the application at a later date. I have changed on the application form but on the main page showing the application date, GWR number, etc it still shows the original earlier date.

Will there be any need to start a fresh application?

I don't think it matters. If your requested travel date has passed when they approve it, they will give you 30 days to enter from the approval date.

I submitted mine 4 months in advance and it was approved. I think up to 6 months is fine. They aren't going to process it before three months is up anyway.

You can apparently now nominate an entry date of up to 6 months from when you apply.
