Cash Savings route for spousal visa
Does the £62,500 have to be in a cash (on demand) account? Can it be a fixed deposit?
Also, does one have to prove the source of funds? |

Also, does one have to prove the source of funds? You'll need to state the source of funds (eg savings from employment etc) |

Re: Cash Savings route for spousal visa
Ours was fixed deposit for our first visa and we asked the bank to write a letter to confirm that the funds could be withdrawn immediately with penalty. Sometimes 'fixed deposit' would suggest that notice has to be given before withdrawing and we did not want there to be any doubt! |
