Hi i want to know can i apply for uk visitor visa as i went to uk in November 2009 to 26 jun 2012 3 month before my visa expiry i left uk. i have applied in collage of it & e-commere but collage closed then in 2010 i took admission in london sam collage i got diplom in business management degree form this collage and this collage also closed i didnt inform to home office for changing collage which i have done in 2010 can I apply for visitor visa as i want to visit my friends currently i m working in a company as a general manager please help

Yes you can apply for a visitor visa.

Depending on your circumstances, you may or may not be granted one.

I dont know the reason but its close after i got my diploma from collage. not from awarding body so if i apply now what r the chances i have travel twice on my student visa i have pass immigration in march 2012 and left uk in jun 2012 as i have visa till sep 2012.

The colleges probably closed because they are giving diplomas/degrees to people who can't spell or punctuate sentences properly .....

Many British students in India who are unable to speak/punctuate fluent Marathi, Hindi, Tamil etc.

If you are coming as a visitor you need a visitor visa regardless of your previous visas. Just apply.
You will need a British sponsor who will take responsibility for any medical expenses etc. Your travel agent will know the format of the document.

If you don't have an adverse immigration history then your chances are as good as anyone else's providing you demonstrate to the ECO that you fulfil the requirements for the visa you are applying for, i.e. you'll be a genuine visitor to the UK and that you are likely to comply with the conditions of that visa once it is granted, i.e. you will only visit the UK, you won't work, study or apply for asylum and return to India before your visa expires.

...... and if they had obtained a diploma in Business Management from any colleges they had attended and could not spell "college", use form instead of from and were unable to punctuate simple sentences then I would say that, like
the diploma the poster obtained, they are not worth the paper they are written on.

Just as an aside, the SAM college the poster mentioned has been removed from the UK Tier 4 list of recognised colleges.

Possibly he was cheated then wasn't he??

Hopefully he gained something from it. The cost of air fares and maintenance expenses for him would have been very high considering the difference in wages and cost of living etc in India.

(This false expectancy for some, that UK college courses will somehow be more worthwhile---ironically most good college courses in India are taught in English)

The colleges in the UK are too often used as a way for people to get to the UK and work, but these colleges aren't as highly rated as a University. Because of the abuse, from next month the UK is now stopping all those at a college from working at all. Those at university will still be allowed to work.

Those at a college will now have to return home when their course ends. The university students won't have to if they can find a sponsor.

...and recognized by UK institutions. Studying a degree in India can be a cost affective, and experience worthy, route to higher degree study in the UK. A route a friend of mine chose to take.

800+ of these colleges have been closed down by UKVI. As the OP has told us, that one let him study there without a visa to do so.

When a college is closed, UKVI curtail the visas of their students' and gives them 60 days to either pack up and leave the UK, or find another sponsor (college or university) who will give them a CoS to apply for another Tier 4 student visa. If the new visa is granted they can remain in the UK and study at the new college. They can't study at another college if that college hasn't sponsored them for a visa to study there.
