Default BRP change Address really necessary?

Hi - We have found accommodation and will be living there for around 1 year before moving back to the original address on the spouse visa. Is it really necessary to change the home address on the BRP card if we are then going to change it back again so soon? Cheers

Ooops - I lived at 3 different addresses in 3 years when I was in the UK on a spouse visa, and didn't even think to notify anyone. Will be interested to see what others think about your question!

It’s not required for a spouse visa, or at least it wasn’t the last time I checked.

Good news. No deception in my immigration history
