Do we just fill out the normal application as of we were in the UK?
And I assume the only way to apply is online? (as applications are only sent to an address in the UK).

Shirtback has given you the right link but HKG3 is right to raise the issue of eligibility. There's no point applying for a British passport if your child isn't entitled to British citizenship.

You are both quite right, obviously, with the "-is the kid entitled to British citizenship" caveat

(I took a squint at foreigngirl's OPs before replying with the pp link; I didn't see any reason to think the kid *isn't* British. Always ready to stand corrected, of course )

Only getting to applying now, so remembered this post. Thank you for all the answers.
Yes, baby daddy is British (born there), so kidlets are entitled to British passports.

We've gone for the Canadian passport first, but the kids we did online and it must have been done by return of post- it was so quick. We'll get round to it but was trying to stagger payment of everyone's passport- so expensive!
