British passport
i am going to move back to the UK next year, my British passport has expired but I have a New Zealand one. I am both a British and New Zealand citizen. Will I be able to enter the UK on a NZ passport without a return ticket or should I apply to renew my British passport, and if I do need a British passport, should I get one prior to brexit or wait until after? Many thanks.

Friend's son (dual citizen) returned to UK to work for uncle and tried to enter on US passport. Asked what his intentions were he said 'to work for uncle' and was told not on a US passport you're not and was quickly sent to secondary. Only once there did he pull out his Brit passport..... the officials were not impressed.
Brexit will have no affect on obtaining a renewed passport.

Get it now. You’ll need it to re-enter the UK and to prove your right to work, rent a property, etc..
