Biometrics for UK - 2 week delay in US
Biometric enrolment for American citizens seeking to move to the UK has been suspended for more than two weeks because the British government missed a payment to the Department of Homeland Security, according to sources familiar with the bureaucratic glitch.

Interesting. If true then it’s not surprising why they haven’t publicised the reason for the outage. I understand the problem is due to be resolved this week.

The centres have reopened to UK applicants as of this morning. Apparently the cheque finally cleared
