Bank statements (Halifax) for partner visa
Hello! Would appreciate your guidance here:
We are using property rental income combined with our cash savings to meet the financial requirements. However, my partner's bank in the UK (Halifax) suggested that he just print them out, as they don't stamp them in any case. The statements he receives via email are on official bank letterhead but are electronic, so the following advice on Appendix FM-SE is a bit confusing. We need to use 12 months to provide proof of rental income, and of course we really want to get this right in order to avoid any appeal process or errors. We are presently not in the UK, so only other option is to have the bank post these statements to his address (which takes 7 days) and have them scanned, and they're almost identical to the electronic version anyway. Any advice or thoughts? Has anyone faced this issue? Relevant part from Appendix:

Re: Bank statements (Halifax) for partner visa
If the online bank statements are the replica of original bank statements on letterhead, and aren't pacifically marked as "online", then almost can't be distinguished which most probably will carry same weight.. Alternatively, take the print out of bank statements to another branch or same branch on another day because it all depends on the banker's mood. Moreover, in my opinion all of the official guidances have never been bothered to synch with the guidance of UKVCAS which does allow everything be in online format with acceptable versions such as pdf.
