Applying for 1st British passport for child
Am I reading the table below right?

Table c: Born on or after 1 January 1983
We need to send both parents passports along with the application?
Not copies of passports?
Also, what did you send to prove child's identity and link to parents (table A: First British Passport)?
Need to send 3 documents. Full birth certificate will be one, but what about the others? I didn't get any hospital records with my children's names.

Was the child born in Canada and are you still living in Canada? If so that's the wrong supporting documents list. Canada is a Group 1 country, not Group 3.
Thank you sooo much for the link. I missed that 'group' thing. Where does it say which group each country is in?

You need to complete the mini questionnaire at https://www.gov.uk/overseas-passports
It will then display a generic page on how to apply but the link to the supporting documents will vary depending on which country the child was born in and resides in.
