Applicant's employment details spousal visa online form

Applicant's employment details spousal visa online form
Could someone who has completed the online form recently please confirm that on the online form, unlike VAF4a, the applicant is asked for employment details? Seems like it but why?? Also another difference is that the applicant is not asked for any details of children other than dependent children. On the VAF4a, the applicant was asked for details of children, where they are living etc and how do you keep in touch with them.

Sorry I cant answer your question. I had printed out the VAF4a form thinking it would be the same. I filled this out as a kind of practice run. So I am curious. How much employment history are they asking for?

Current employment, salary, employer's contact details, how long in employment etc.
As my husband has worked for the government before, he had to enter details of that but we are used to that from previous visitor visa applications so that was expected.
We have used the online form, choosing settlement, settlement, husband so we should be on the correct form for spousal visa!
