Default Ancestry Visa via Isle of Man

Good day

I am South African and want to apply for an ancestry visa via Isle of Man for myself and my two children. I am eligible and my younger sister has already relocated to London.

My firstborn is turning 18 on 16 December 2024. She has her father on her birth certificate although we are no longer together (he lives in another country) and doesn't contribute towards her care. What documentation would I need in order to make a successful application with her? Do I need anything special to take her over with me? (Note that I am in contact with her father and he has no problem with her going and supports the move.) My son is not an issue as I am the only parent on his birth certificate. I would like to put the application in as soon as possible. I also wanted to ask what is the amount that I would need to demonstrate that I have enough money to support myself and my two children?

Any other advice concerning the visa process via Isle of Man - or any other relevant advice would be most welcome too

Thank you in advance!

This visa is usually used by people who intend to work in the Isle of Man.
Is this your intention? If not, why not just apply for the standard ancestry visa?

Just to clarify, you have a grandparent who was born on the Isle of Man or you wish to relocate to the Isle of Man?
