Advice on minimum relationship time
Hello
I need advice ... what is the Minimum time required to be in a relationship before applying for a UK spouse visa. I have read on uk gov website 2 years. But on here I have read some people being in a relationship for a shorter period and applying.

Are you actually married as well or just in a de facto/common-law relationship?

You'll need two years minimum if you're not married. If you are married then there is no time limit.

Correct. If the OP is only dating their partner then they would need to marry before applying for a spouse visa or apply for a fiancé(e) visa.

ok I understand now, I was just under the impression the spouse visa was the one we needed. Where is the fiance visa located on gov uk ? I've looked but can't see anything.
