We are currently living out of UK and doesn’t own any property or have any relative/friends there can you please suggest how can I meet this accommodation requirement in this case. We are planning to apply my spouse visa through savings route next month

I thought you had to have accommodation in place when applying, so it'll need to be for more than a week. But the forum pros will no doubt confirm or correct.

You can book short term holiday accommodation and provide the booking confirmation and paid invoice as evidence. As christmasoompa has said, one week isn't enough - to find a property to rent and do all the checks/documentation will take longer than that and you have to stay somewhere in the meantime! I'd suggest a booking of 4 weeks.

It wouldn't hurt to also mention in your covering letter that you'll be looking for a standard rental property when you arrive. Best of luck with the application.

One of my friend here in HK Have a property there in UK he have agreed to provide us temporary accommodation .Can I just submit a letter from him or I need to submit some other documents as well.

You'll need to provide proof that he owns the property (copy of the Land Registry document is good for this, otherwise a mortgage document). A copy of his passport bio page is also recommended. And the letter giving you and your family permission to stay in the property, of course

You’ll need to provide evidence that he owns the property in question - title deeds or a mortgage statement - together with a signed in ink letter giving you permission to stay there. I would also include a photocopy of a piece of his photo ID that also includes his signature, like a passport or driving licence.

All good then. The property owner should specify in his letter how many bedrooms and other rooms are in the house, and that the property's for the sole use of the three of you.
