Hi

Husband UKC, wife PH national.

Wife applying for leave to enter UK. She currently works for a large multinational and will be resigning her position there to join me in the UK. As I understand it her income would not be considered in our application, only mine. Now if I sell our UK property given it has been in my possession for over six months we are deemed to have met the six month criteria. However, if the same property is rented out, I'd need to evidence that happening for a full six months prior to applying. Is that correct?

If you plan on using the rental income to meet the financial requirements then you would need 12 months.
