Short term rentals for a few months

My mum is looking to relocate to HK at some point in the future but she doesn't want to commit completely. However, from doing some research online, I understand that most rentals are for a minimum of a year. So I am just wondering if anyone knows of any options for renting for let's say a few months at a time? Any other advice would also be much appreciated!

Thanks very much in advanced. :)

Many reasons to relocate but from what you've written I'm unsure your mum has good reasons to do so.

Not asking you to divulge anything but perhaps you can talk through the relocation with her.

There are dozens if not hundreds of "serviced apartments" or "corporate apartments" that rent basically month-to-month.
