Default Help !!Taxis Hong Kong Airport

Hi there,
Parents are stopping over for the night in Hong Kong on their way home from us. They cant use the hotel shuttle bus as for some reason its not disabled friendly. So as they arrive at about 10pm do the taxis run ok at that time and would they be will to help put an electric whelchair in the boot? OR can anyone recommend a mini bus taxi or similar that we could book to collect and take them to the airport in the am?
Never simple when a wheelchair is involved !!!
Thanks Sunbound

99.999% certain you'd have no problem.

Always found HK taxis fair and square even though sometimes the language can be a bit problematical.

It's all very civilised at HK airport - orderly taxi rank rather than loads of touts hassling you.

I'm sure there will be no problem with a wheelchair but they could always ask for help at the Info Desk.

Actually, thinking about it - I assume they will be getting help on and off the plane so the ground staff should be able to help.

Timing no issue.

There is a special taxi service available for people in wheelchairs which has a ramp at the back, though I can't find the number at the moment.
There is a bit about wheelchairs and taxis here.
Is it a full on electric number or a standard fold-up?
Our neighbours daughter has a full on electric so I can ask them for the number of the special taxi if you need it.
