ACRO police certificate and working in china

I have recently been accepted for a job to teach english in Shanghai. As part of the application process I have to get an ACRO police certificate that I believe may show 'No live trace' due to an incident a few years back were I recieved a caution. Has anybody got any experience with this or have any idea of wether I will be able to take this job?

Thanks all

I am also curious about this as I am in the exact same position. I can find the question asked on a number of boards but absolutely no answers. I'll keep you updated as my application goes through and I hope you will do the same and let me know!

As far as I know, the Chinese authorities (PSB) don't look too far back.
I think they probably look back maybe 3 to 4 years.
If they don't find anything too serious, then I guess you would be OK.

I am confident they wouldn't be interested in a caution.
