Panama City - any info?
Struggling to find any info re life in Panama City,
The country looks beautiful but the city looks all skyscrapers and also seems v expensive. Any first hand info would be much appreciated. |
Re: Panama City - any info?
All i can say is - i often stay a few days when travelling to cuba, and there appear to be security concerns round the city. I was told large parts of the countryside were very nice and safe but crime against foreigners in the city is dangerous. My hotel advised an armed guard if going out at night. Compound living? |

Well, I dunno, Grenada. My wife was there for a couple of days and nights two years ago and said she felt safe wandering around. Not late at night, but still... And she wasn't in a posh area. Has the safety level deteriorated since then? |

I’ll ask a friend who visits a lot and see what she says. |
