I have overstayed on my tourist visa by 6 months, where can I go to pay the fine?
 

Hi guys,

I got married back in March to my Mexican wife, and my tourist FMM visa expired in June. I guess we got too comfortable and the next thing I know I'm way overdue in my stay because I'm technically still a tourist.

I'm due to go back home to the UK in January, I will book the flight next week. But I would like to correct myself and pay the fine of overstaying this long. I'm currently in Guadalajara.

I know there is an immigration desk at the Guadalajara Airport - shall I book my flight first then go to the immigration desk to pay the fine before my flight? Or is it best to go there before booking the flight, to pay the fine first in case of delays? Or if there is a better option please let me know.
