Brazil

Does anyone have any info on living and working in the Recife area of Brazil ????

Are there visa restrictions etc.

If we were to go out there to oversee a building developement, and it lasted longer than 3 months, would that be a problem.

Any info on the cost of living, cars, health care would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I think you'll find that Brazil certainly does have immigration controls.
Are you a Brazilian citizen? Or a citizen of a Mercosur/Mercosul nation?

Also, do you speak Portuguese?

Thank you for replying.
No we are UK Brits.
We returned from the US in April.

We have a opportunity to go to Brazil {Conde}, for several months to over see building works on a plantation for a Developer here in the UK.
I have since found out a bit about visas etc, so we are now in talks to see if we are moving forward on this.
