Please READ - Cayman or burmuda

:rolleyes: Hi there everyone,

I have had enough of the uk high tax, community charges, yellow lines and the congestion zone!

I want to live in a country in the Caribbean and the cayman or Bermuda sound quite interesting. I am a life coach and own a personal growth training company where i offer motivational workshops, creative visualisation, mediation etc...

Can anyone tell me if there is a market for this type of work and if you can give me any advice it would be fantastic.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I might be biased but I have always wanted to visit Grand Cayman and swim with the rays so I'd prefer it over Bermuda! We're hoping to go on holiday there Feb '07.

I found these websites about Cayman that may be useful;

www.caymanislands.ky Official Cayman tourism site

www.gov.ky Official Cayman government website

Hi There,

Not sure if there is a market for life coaches, however you should be aware to start a business here you need a Caymanian partner who would own about 50% of the business (and recieve rewards for doing nothing.)

I live in the Caymans, so if there is anything else you need to know you can PM me.

I used to live in Cayman and I believe there ought to be a market for motivational speakers, the locals need a bit of motivation at work from my own personal experience :)

Aside from that cheeky comment, Cayman is a great place to live - a very easy laid back lifestyle, although beware, although there is no income tax, the cost of living is extremely high, especially since insurance premiums have shot through the roof due to hurricane ivan. You only have to look at the price of property and rental for a start. Check out the Buy & Sell www.buysell.ky for rentals among other miscellaneous bits.
