job assistance...
hi there, i'm new zealand based and looking for a job in public relations ... can anyone suggest any good recruiting firms over there or offer any advice... do you think i'll even find work there in PR?

Not without coming here, probably. Still, your best bet is to check out Cayman's "New Resident" magazine to see what's what. For background you could browse my blog for posts about immigration, etc.

It's not an easy field of work to get into in Cayman due to the small population. However, there are opportunities that exist. In fact we have a connection who has just opened his own PR company here.

Both tourism and financial markets have been soft. Many Hedge Funds have moved out, PR work for hotel chains is run out of corporate HQs. You have to come and knock at doors...
