Trinidad reopening its borders
Yesterday Keith Rowley in Trinidad confirmed rules on their border reopening which is on 17th of July.
All nationals are allowed to enter and leave, but those not fully vaccinated face a 14 day quarantine at their expense. Government facilities will wind down and some hotels will take on this role.
Foreigners are only allowed in if fully vaccinated.
All vaccinated individuals will have a PCR test then are free, there is no quarantine requirement. Rowley emphasised that there is no such thing as a more safe or more dangerous country as variants of the virus can be in any country, only a more safe or risky individual. They are increasing penalties for those who seek to avoid these rules.
NB France and Denmark have been added to the list of countries allowing vaccinated visitors free entrance with no quarantine or testing requirement
