Spouse employment in Bermuda
My husband is currently going through the recruitment process for a post in Bermuda, and obviously if he were to be successful, the company would deal with all the required work permits for him.
While the salary on offer is very good, and would mean that I would not financially need to work, I was wondering whether if at some stage I decided I wanted to work, whether this is a possibility? Once over there can I apply for a work permit of some sort, or am I destined to be a lady who lunches

You need to apply for permission to seek work first from the Immigration department, if and when you get that, you can then look for work. your prospective employer will then get a permit...it all takes about 4 months and depends on what you do as they will want a Bermudian to do it first...
