Moving to Antigua
 

I am currently considering relocating to Antigua, my partner was born but has been in the UK for the last ten years. We plan to get married and buy a house when we return. Can anyone help with regards to the following:

* We have a budget of £80,000 will this enable us to purchase a property that we can fix-up? My partner is a builder.

* Which areas are cheap? I know that certain locations are expensive, so where on island could we buy a good sized plot?

* Does anyone have children attending the state secondary schools? If so, what are their experiences and is private education better? I have a 10 year who will need to go to school.
