Moving to Antigua

I would welcome any information people may have on moving to Antigua. I'm looking in to the possibility of moving my family over there but haven't got a clue where to start.

I know Antigua a little bit having lived there for a few months nearly 20 years ago, but obviously this is completely different.

I would be looking to buy a house. According to the Embassy website Antigua is encouraging people in to the country by offering them permanent residency if they buy, but this comes with a $20,000/year tax.

The dream is to own a fishing charter/water sports business, is this a saturated market? Am I mad to even consider it?

I know some family friends tried to do the same thing in Mauritius but once they got there the locals effectively stopped them from doing business, even after having invested heavily in a very good boat, etc... Apparently there seemed to be some sort of Mafia which would only let them operate if they paid highly in cash. Is it possible that this would happen in Antigua?

Anyway, any information on moving to Antigua would be much appreciated.

Thanks
