Some of the eastern islands got hammered last week, but Cayman was safe.

It came straight over us in Grenada but Carriacou 40 miles north took the damage, however it does provide an exhilarating experience if you don’t get any actual damage…

Over to you, Grenada. I've moved to Ecuador, at least for a time. The house in Cayman is leased for the time being. Still vulnerable to hurricanes, of course, but not quite as personal!

For those interested... Grand Cayman was spared the wrath of the recent hurricane, but the sister islands got a bit of a bashing. It was a late-season storm, but strong enough to scare everybody. Our beaches are already disappearing because of erosion.
