computer troubles in st lucia

Help!
I live in St Lucia and I have a problem with my email account. There is a message stuck in my outbox and I can't delete it. Since it got stuck I can't receive any emails - only send them. I have tried virus checks, search and destroys etc etc but no success. Even tried to restore my computer to last weeks to see if that worked but it couldn't carry out the restore request.

I don't fancy trying Computerworld as they don't seem to clued up but if anyone can recommend them from personal experience I will give them a go. Does anyone out there know anyone that knows about this stuff and can help.

any ideas? thanks in advance

Hi there,

My wife has been lurking in here for a few weeks now as we have been working toward moving to the island and she sent me your plea for help. I'll see if I can help but first I am afraid I have a few questions. Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express (Or even non-windows?) and assuming it is one of the two, are you on Windows XP or Windows Vista?

I have come across this problem in the past.I hope I can be of some help to you.

Regards
Nick

As you can see from the link posted above by the other correspondent, this error implies a faulty mail server setting. Has anybody / anything changed the settings of the mail account. With the error reported on the POP3 (Port 110) this points to a problem with the "inbound server" setting.
