Two years yesterday! Missed it...
So we've been here two years....
26th October 2013. Arrived as TFW on last AirTransat flight of the year from Manchester (same flight as Ally & Chris. Sat next to them. Never actually met them!)
Winter 2013/14 rented a house in Kelowna. Awesome lake view. Cold.
Feb 2014-May 2015 rental in Abbotsford. Brand new house. Badly built. No view. Idiot redneck lived across the road (c/w small penis truck that got washed once a day).
July 2014 applied for BC PNP.
January 2015. Abandoned PNP. Applied for EE.
May 2015 to present. Took the plunge. Bought house.
September 2015. PR. Landed.

2 years soon goes by, we were in such a daze on the flight no idea what to expect on the other side, we are happy its working out for you!

Well done on the two years and your PR as well! Sounds like having your own house is much better than living next to rednecks!

Congrats, passed 3 years at beginning of October. In the process of buying a place but things haven't gone smoothly so we had to extend completion.
