One year as PR on May 9th

Knowing myself, I'd probably forget to post this on the day. On May 9th, I will have been a Permanent Resident for one year. I'd been in Canada on and off for about three and a half years before that point, having first come here on a study abroad year at UVic in 2019. Never thought I'd end up meeting the love of my life during that year, which turned out to be a pretty good reason to come back after I finished my degree.

Haha! Yeah, fully aware of how young I am to have moved permanently. Still, with how things are going in the UK I'm content that I made the right choice.

Not that it matters but I meant in terms of not having been in Canada that long ;)

Congratulations! Sounds like you have settled into life in Victoria really well. It's also always nice to hear about younger folks coming over, I moved here myself just after completing university.
