Five years have gone by...
 

July 12th was our five-year anniversary. Arriving at 11.30pm in Toronto Pearson and making our way though the landed immigrant process was the start of a long journey. But what stories we tell! Mostly to our long-suffering Canadian friends who think we are nuts :D

We are very settled now though, and we are happy.

Life continues to throw us challenges but would do that wherever we were living!

Citizenship test is coming up on July 29th, feeling a little nervous (don't like tests!).

All in all life is good and is treating us very well indeed on this side of the Atlantic.

The stresses of immigration all seem a long, long time ago...

I am sure many of us on here who go through the odd Canadian Growing Pain, from time to time will take heart from your experience.
