I originally arrived on Canada on a working holiday visa 8 years ago at YVR Airport, without having any family around/people to rely on, not knowing what to expect from my time here.
Over the past years, I have managed to get sponsorship for the BC provincial nominee program to get my PR, met my now wife, gained Canadian citizenship, bought a home, and had my first child. I have also now found a fulfilling job that I couldn’t have found in the UK.
Its been an amazing 8 years living in Canada and I would never want to move back to England. Admittedly however its not always been easy, and have gone through many years of stress over paperwork and uncertainty but I would do it all over again.
I would say to anyone thinking about moving here that it will not always be easy but it is worth it.
