7 years and 7 days
...that's how long it took me from landing as a Temp Foreign Worker to gaining my citizenship last Tuesday.
Like many on here, a few ups & downs along the way, but still here & still smiling.

I think that will be roughly us too. We arrived in August 2011 and will probably apply next year!
-the test is nothing to worry about and the ceremony was actually very good.

can I just ask is there an easy type calculator to find out the exact date you are eligible for citizenship ? We moved in August 2013 got PR in July 2014 and had normal vacation out of the country since then
