Congrats on 4 years.

We've been in Canada for 3 years and moved from NS to Alliston a few weeks ago. We went up to Wasaga Beach on a cold windy day just a few days ago... Hoping next time it will be sunnier. Still trying to find our feet here tbh but hoping once the kids are at school that it will get easier

So the newflyover crosses at an angle to the old one, across Glover. The disruption has been huge, the cost even more so, yet the result is a staggeringly stupid and overcomplicated road layout, less that 100 yards from an already frequently gridlocked crossroads with a level crossing, that is going to be a rush hour nightmare and probably an accident blackspot.

If only they would get the hang of roundabouts (both where to build them and how to use them) and they would have saved a lot of money and aggravation.

oh tell me about it, Canadians haven't got the first idea how to use a roundabout. they've just built one where we are in Ontario and the other day i was on the roundabout behind a camper van and he stopped dead in the middle of it and started letting the yielding traffic onto the roundabout My horn was nearly worn out from the use it got and he had no idea what he was doing wrong.

Rounabout use needs to be introduced to the driving test here

Haven't been back to Langley since we left 2 years ago but i know where your talking about, wow that must be a nightmare.

Alliston is quite a nice little town. Think it has potential and with all the building work going on it's going to expand a lot along with the local services and stores...

Still finding our feet though. Need to get to know a few people really. Maybe once school starts it will be easier

We will try to get back up there then on a sunny day... might even go for a swim then!
