Hi
I'm moving to Edmonton next month (August) and I'd just like to say hi! I need to find accommodation at the moment. Moving out here on my own so would prefer house share. Any advice, tips, etc, that you guys know about living in Edmonton would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

hi beccyd

in edmonton it is really good for house sharing and i advise this as my boyfriend did it when he first came here. he shared with a lovely lady and her daughter they helped him get to the grocery store and where ever he wanted to go!

We are still really good friends too she still rents rooms out to i can see if she has any rooms?

If not just look on kijiji edmonton, thats where james looked!

If you need any help when you get here just let me know!

Good luck on your move over here, see you very soon :)

Hello,

I've been searching this forum to see if anyone has added any details of a decent hairdresser. I'm in downtown Edmonton, and I see that is where you are, and you work as a hairdresser.
I really need to find a good hairdresser. Preferably one who doesn't charge like we're all oil rig workers.
Are you in my area? If not, do you know a good one nearby?

Thanks,

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, this is a very old thread and the OP h hasn't been on the forum for 6 or 7 months.

For future ref, the date is on the top left. Might be worth starting a thread in the main Canada forum asking for recommendations from those in Edmonton?

HTH.

I can 100% vouch for Victoria....best hair stylist I've ever had despite only being in Canada and using her for 2.5 years!!!
