You need to wait until you've posted enough to access the PM system, but there's really no need as the OP can email you quite easily by using the drop down menu next to each of your posts, so can contact you if they wish.

It's a way of them emailing you but without you putting your email address on a public forum, where it will be picked up by every weirdo and spambot out there!
