SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST – HEALTH INDUSTRY

Sierra Systems Group is currently seeking several Senior Business Analysts with Health experience for our Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg and Regina offices.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Conduct needs assessments with clients to validate business technology requirements;
• Promote interoperability of business and technology, acting as the bridge between the business objectives and the technology requirements
• Lead client groups to conceptualize processes to apply information technology as a strategic asset, as it applies to business
• Determine and/or validate business requirements through research, facilitation and/or analysis
• Document requirements by using different techniques such as Use Cases, Swim Lane Diagrams and/or Process Modeling
• Facilitate the development/creation of current and future state business process, organizational, and high-level technology architecture models related to Communicable Disease and Outbreak Management
• Develop detailed business and technical specifications, which could include projected costs
• Contribute to the creation of test plans; developing test cases and scripts for Functional Testing
• Contribute to the creation of training plans and downtime procedures
• Lead other business analysts and assume responsibility for quality of deliverables

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 9 years of business analysis experience
• Demonstrated experience and ability to work both within a team environment and independently
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with health care stakeholders and preferably community health clinician
• Preferable minimum 5 Years Health Experience: Understanding of cross-continuum aspects of the health system
